The head of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, Milos Vučević, said that the Serbian army has prepared an adequate response to the militarization of the partially recognized republic of Kosovo.

He spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Vučević stressed that Belgrade is concerned about the continued equipping of the Kosovo army with weapons.

"There is a clear plan, which they do not hide, according to which the Kosovo Security Forces will become the Kosovo Armed Forces by 2026, which contradicts even what they call their constitution," he said.

As the minister emphasized, Serbia can respond to these actions of the Kosovo authorities in several possible ways: diplomatic, political, as well as with the help of an "adequate response" of the Serbian army.
