Ida Dahl before the premiere: "You feel hunted"

The new season kicks off in Bad Gällivare, Austria, on Saturday, February 14. The first race of the season will be the men's 10km classic. The women's race will be held on Sunday, February 15. The final race will take place on February 16. The winner will be crowned the winner of the Women's Ski Classics.

Last season, Ida Dahl took her first overall victory in the Endurance Cup.

Now awaits the premiere of this year's Ski Classics, which kicks off in Bad Gastein, Austria, on Saturday.

Dahl got the chance to check the competition form during the cross-country skiing premiere in Gällivare, where she made it through the qualification in the sprint and finished ninth in the classic 10 km race.

Ahead of the season, she has focused on getting physically stronger. And has a clear goal in mind:

"Of course, it's defending the title. And then you have individual competitions like Vasaloppet that mean a lot, where you want to perform extra well.
