Highlights: In Congo, a first group of Kenyan soldiers from the East African Regional Force (EAC) left Goma. A Russian delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Defence arrived in Niamey to meet with the military authorities. Niger announced its withdrawal, along with Burkina Faso, from the G5 Sahel. In Benin, it has been almost 3 years that Reckya Madougou, the former minister of Thomas Boni Yayi, has been in prison. And still no presidential pardon or amnesty in sight.

Finally, in Benin, it has been almost 3 years that Reckya Madougou, the former minister of Thomas Boni Yayi, has been in prison. And still no presidential pardon or amnesty in sight. Benin's head of state, Patrice Talon, refuses to release her despite a new request from the president of the country's largest opposition party and former president.
