Coach Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool FC celebrated a late victory in the English Premier League in a spectacular match. The German coach's team defeated Fulham 4-3 (2-2) in a highly exciting match. With their seventh home win in seven matches, the Reds remain two points behind league leaders Arsenal. Champions Manchester City dropped to third place after an equally extraordinary 3-3 (2-1) draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

Trent Alexander-Arnold made it 20-1 after 0 minutes when the England international hit the underside of the crossbar with a perfect free-kick from around 25 yards. As the ball went off the back of Fulham keeper Bernd Leno and into the goal, the goal was ruled an own goal. The ex-Bundesliga goalkeeper has been playing with a head bandage since the early stages after a collision with Liverpool's Luis Díaz.

Somewhat surprisingly, the club from West London equalised through Harry Wilson to make it 1-1 (24th). Argentina's World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister's next brilliant long-range shot put Liverpool back in front (39'). The visitors equalised again through Kenny Tete (45.+3). Goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher, who stood in for the injured regular keeper Alisson, did not look good.

After a rather quiet second half, things got wild in the closing stages. Fulham's Bobby De Cordova-Reid shocked Liverpool with a header to make it 2-3 (80th). Ex-Stuttgart player Wataru Endo (87') and Alexander-Arnold just a minute later turned the match around at Anfield.

The draw between Manchester City and Tottenham was also spectacular. Former Bundesliga player Son Heung-min scored for Spurs to make it 1-0 (6th). Three minutes later, he scored the next goal – but into his own net to make it 1-1. Phil Foden (31') and Jack Grealish (81') each fired Pep Guardiola's City team into the lead. Giovani Lo Celso (69') and Dejan Kulusevski (90') equalised twice for the visitors from London.
