Leo Carlsson's new show in the NHL – became a hero after a penalty shootout

It was an eventful game between Anaheim and Colorado. 3–3 was the result after regular time and extra time – but in the end the home team drew the longest straw.

18-year-old Swede Leo Carlsson was a major contributor to Anaheim's victory. In the second period, he first reduced the deficit to 2–3. He then assisted on Alexander Killorn's equaliser, which took the game to extra time.

Once there, he had a hard shot in the post, before the match came to be decided on penalties.

Settled after delicious draw

Carlsson then became the only player to score his penalty, and this he did after a delicious draw.

In addition, it was the 18-year-old's first NHL shootout of his career.
