Calle Halfvarsson was the best Swede with a time of 22.21,2. But he was far from a podium finish. In the end, Halfvarsson had to settle for eleventh place.

The winner Pål Golberg was 24.5 seconds faster than the Swede.

17-year-old Alvar Myhlback became the youngest Swede ever to make his debut in the World Cup. At the time of writing, the talent is in 37th place.

"It was fun. Now it's done. My body feels pretty good. It was just going out there and doing a good race and driving the out of me. I think it succeeded," he told SVT Sport.
