Anna Benson and Anna Beck selected for the 2024 Paralympics

Highlights: Two women have been selected for the 2024 Paralympics in Paris. The pair will compete in the women's 4x100m freestyle relay. The women will also take part in the men's 4X100m medley relay. They will be competing for the first time at the Paralympic Games in 2024. The event will be held at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 21-28. The final will take place on August 31, 2024, at the Olympic Stadium in Rio.

Anna Benson and Anna Beck have had a successful 2023. Now the two Swedes have been selected for the 2024 Paralympics.


On August 28, it's time for the Paralympics in Paris and today the first two Swedes who have been selected for the championships were presented.

Both cyclist Anna Beck and shooter Anna Benson competed in Tokyo 2021 and will have another chance to experience another Paralympics.

Beck won gold in the time trial at the World Championships in Scotland and also reaped great success in the World Cup where she was on the podium in all five starts.

Benson also won the R8 class during the championship in Peru. This spring, she also set a new world record in the 3x40 relay match with a score of 1183.

"Anna has taken another step into the world elite since the Paralympics in Tokyo and has continued to stand on the podium during several World Cup competitions since then," says Niklas Grön.

Both Beck and Benson won silver at the 2021 Paralympics.
