Berlin has decided to close its consulates general in Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg in line with its policy aimed at severing the entire range of relations between Russia and Germany.

"These actions are being taken by the German authorities in accordance with the policy pursued by the German government aimed at severing the entire range of Russian-German relations," the statement said.
In addition, Berlin, by its actions, seeks to minimize bilateral interaction with Russia in the diplomatic dimension, the ministry added.
Earlier, the German Consulate General was closed in Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.
