ÖFK gets elite license for 2024

The board is looking at whether the club has reasonable financial conditions for the coming year before they make a decision. ÖFK will play in the Europa League if they qualify for the Champions League in the coming season. The Europa League is a competition for clubs playing in the UEFA Champions League group stages.

The elite license is a prerequisite for ÖFK to be able to play in Superettan in the coming season. ÖFK has had a tough time with the economy and the Elite Licensing Board is looking at whether the club has reasonable financial conditions for the coming year before they make a decision.

"There are so many, externally and internally, who have been working for a long time to obtain the club's elite license for 2024. It is so gratifying to get the news that we have succeeded, says Peja Lindholm, CEO and club manager of ÖFK, in a statement on the club's website.
