Hungary is not ready to support changes in the EU budget and Ukraine's admission to the community, said the head of the Hungarian Prime Minister's administration, Gergely Gulyas.


"The Hungarian government at the moment cannot contribute to the adoption of a joint decision (of the EU countries. — RT) not on a single issue... Both questions are clearly not prepared," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to the politician, there is no clear justification of the reasons for the amendments to the EU budget and possible consequences, as well as an expert opinion on how Ukraine's accession to the EU will turn out for the budget of the union, cohesion funds and European agriculture.

Guyash recalled that Ukraine had not fulfilled the conditions necessary to start membership talks.
