Israel expects the truce in the Gaza Strip to last for another 2-3 days, the Washington Post writes, citing an unnamed Israeli official.


"The day after tomorrow, we expect another two or three days for the release of the hostages and a humanitarian pause, after which we will either resume the operation in Gaza or perhaps reach a subsequent agreement," he said.

In addition, according to him, the Israeli side expects that most of the captive children will be released on the night of November 29.

Earlier, the Palestinian movement Hamas announced the possibility of extending the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip for two days.
