The National Police have arrested actor Juan José Ballesta for allegedly assaulting and stealing money and a jacket from an acquaintance of his, in the Madrid district of Hortaleza, police sources have told EFE.
The events took place on Tuesday morning around 8:00 a.m., when the actor met with an acquaintance and, after getting into an argument, they attacked each other.
During the fight, according to the same source, Ballesta took the opportunity to steal the money and the jacket, after which he fled in a vehicle. Subsequently, he was located and arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence.
The actor is also being investigated by the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 4 of Parla (Madrid) for an alleged sexual assault committed last summer.
