Anna Magnusson, Linn Persson, Elvira Öberg and her sister Hanna Öberg will compete in Wednesday's World Cup relay at home in Östersund. The quartet is fit and healthy ahead of the competition – at the same time as a covid outbreak has once again hit their colleagues in the national ski team.
Elvira Öberg does not believe that biathletes, who are rarely ill to the same extent as cross-country skiers, actually do anything special to stay healthy
"I don't think there's much difference between us," she says.
"I had the second half of last season ruined.
Elvira Öberg says that she often worries about getting sick.
"But at the same time, I don't want to be too fussy. I try to keep my distance from people and disinfect my hands. If I go shopping, I do it when there are few people in the store.
