The number of residents of Crimea, Dagestan, Krasnodar Krai, Rostov Region, DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, according to information as of 16:00 Moscow time, has decreased to 1 million people, the Russian Ministry of Energy said in a statement.


According to the ministry, more than 2.5 thousand people and about 900 pieces of equipment are involved in the restoration work. The progress of the work is under the control of the Ministry of Energy until the restoration of power supply.

"The main restoration work in Dagestan, the Krasnodar Territory, the Rostov Region is planned to be completed by the end of the current day; in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions - until the end of November 28, in the Crimea, the DPR and the LPR - until the end of November 29," the department wrote on Telegram.

Earlier it was reported that bad weather left almost 2 million people living in the southern part of Russia without electricity.
