Greek Foreign Minister calls on the West to become more resolute in providing assistance to Ukraine

Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis said that the West should be as resolute as possible in helping Ukraine.


In an interview with CNBC, he noted that the situation in Ukraine "is not going well" and remains the same, and the country is in a terrible situation.

"We have stood firmly on the side of Ukraine in all difficult times. But the truth is that we should try to continue to coordinate our actions in favor of Ukraine," the press service of the Greek diplomatic department quoted the minister as saying.

Gerapetritis recalled that European countries have allocated a "very significant budget" to Kyiv and expressed their solidarity in every possible way.

Earlier, the head of the EU diplomatic service, Josep Borrell, said that the volume of military aid supplies to Ukraine from the countries of the European Union reached €27 billion.
