Blinken discussed with Aliyev and Pashinyan the possibility of concluding a peace treaty

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken held talks with Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the possibility of concluding a peace treaty between the two states.


TASS writes about this with reference to the statements of the head of the press service of the State Department, Matthew Miller.

It is noted that Blinken expressed gratitude to Aliyev for his readiness to conclude a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

It is also reported that Blinken, during a conversation with Pashinyan, discussed Washington's efforts to reach a peace treaty.

On November 22, Aliyev said that there were no more obstacles to the signing of a peace treaty between his country and Armenia.

On November 24, Pashinyan announced his readiness to exchange Azerbaijanis in Armenian prisons for Armenians convicted in Azerbaijan on the principle of all for all.
