The newspaper "Izvestia" writes about this with reference to representatives of the network of service stations.

Thus, the head of Gruzdev-Analyze, Alexander Gruzdev, expressed the opinion that the average age of cars in Russia has reached 12.4 years. This, according to him, is almost a year and a half more than in 2022.

At the same time, according to the analytical agency Autostat, the average age of a car in Russia in 2023 reached almost 15 years.

"Now we see that the client is becoming more thrifty, trying to extend the life of his car, because he does not know what he will be able to replace the car with tomorrow," said Tatyana Ovchinnikova, director of the Fit Service service station.

Earlier, auto expert Vladimir Sazhin gave advice on buying a car on credit.
