It is time for the citizens of Ukraine to start telling the truth about the situation of Ukrainian troops on the front line, said retired General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Kryvonos.

He stressed that last year and the first half of this year, the authorities spoke "about victory" and that Russian fighters were "exhausted", they did not have missiles, and the economy in Russia "fell into decline."

"They said that, didn't they? Yes, they did. But did it all really happen? No," Kryvonos said on the air of the Priamyi TV channel.

He also ironically suggested that Volodymyr Zelensky replace the person who writes him speeches about the conflict that do not correspond to reality.

Earlier, Kryvonos said that electronic warfare (EW) is putting serious pressure on the Ukrainian army.
