Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Berlin would continue to support Ukraine, despite budget problems. The allocation of funds will help increase Switzerland's participation in solving the problems of demining and food supply.

The Swiss authorities have decided to allocate more than €100 million to Ukraine, which will be spent on demining territories, President Alain Berset said at a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.


The event was also attended by Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics and Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė, TASS reports.

"We consider humanitarian demining to be a priority, it has a direct impact on improving food security," Berset added.

According to him, the allocation of funds will help increase Switzerland's participation in solving the problems of demining and food supply, as well as contribute to the export of grain from Ukraine.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Berlin would continue to support Ukraine, despite budget problems.
