Self-employed taxi drivers will not necessarily need to switch from foreign cars to domestic cars if the law on the minimum level of taxi localization in Russia is adopted.
The newspaper "Izvestia" writes about this with reference to the chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Andrei Kutepov.
"The decisions of the constituent entities of Russia to establish requirements for the localization of taxis will not apply to cars already used as taxis at the time of making such a decision," the report says.
