The leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, said that the European Union's macro-financial assistance program for Ukraine, according to which Kyiv receives €1.5 billion a month, is madness.


He wrote about this on his social network X (Twitter).

"Ursula von der Leyen is proud to announce that the EU has paid the Zelensky regime another monthly check for €1.5 billion, and so on every month since January. This is madness," the message reads.

The politician added that despite Western assistance, Ukraine has lost the conflict and is a deeply corrupt country.
