Four people convicted of kidnapping in Halmstad

Highlights: Four people between the ages of 17 and 27 have been sentenced to prison and juvenile detention. The perpetrators were prosecuted in mid-October and the crimes are said to have taken place in early May in Halmstad. Among other things, the person was forced to strip naked, hand over his mobile phone and make bank loans. They have been jailed for three years and two years and eight months, respectively, as well as to closed juvenile care. They are accused of kidnapping, unlawful coercion and attempted fraud.
Four people between the ages of 17 and 27 have been sentenced to prison and juvenile detention for, among other things, kidnapping, unlawful coercion and attempted fraud after kidnapping, assaulting and threatening a person.
The perpetrators were prosecuted in mid-October and the crimes are said to have taken place in early May in Halmstad.
Among other things, the victim was locked in an apartment for about twelve hours and was beaten during that time. The person was also forced to strip naked, hand over his mobile phone and bank details.
The perpetrators allegedly tried to use the victim's personal information to make bank loans.
They have now been sentenced by Halmstad District Court to imprisonment for three years and two years and eight months, respectively, as well as to closed juvenile care.
