For the past 20 years (with the exception of 2009), each host country has created a new slogan for the Eurovision Song Contest.
"United by music" was the slogan for Eurovision 2023 (in Liverpool in the UK instead of Ukraine) – and now it's the slogan that applies forever. This has been decided by the European Broadcasting Commission (EBU), which organises the competition.
"We saw no reason to change anything that sums up the entire foundation of the event so well. It feels very good that the EBU has also decided that this is the slogan that applies to the host countries from now on", says Ebba Adielsson, executive producer of the ESC in Malmö, in a press release.
