"Democrats blocked an attempt by Republicans to get quick approval of a bill to provide emergency assistance to Israel, which does not provide assistance to Ukraine," the publication says.
According to the agency, representatives of the Democratic Party spoke in favor of providing assistance to both Israel and Ukraine.
It is noted that at the moment senators are developing their bill on additional financial assistance and plan to present it this week.
On November 3, a bill on aid to Israel without mentioning Ukraine was approved following a vote in the House of Representatives of the US Congress.
