Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani has threatened the United States with a serious blow if the American side does not stop the war in the Gaza Strip.


"Our advice to the Americans is to immediately end the war between Israel and Palestine, as well as to ensure a ceasefire, otherwise you (the United States) will receive a heavy blow," he was quoted as saying by Al-Arabiya TV channel.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Washington does not want a war with Tehran, but will respond in the event of an attack on its representatives during the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
