The Armed Forces of Ukraine intensified shelling of the Kinburn Spit near Kherson

Highlights: Ukrainian troops have begun to strike more often at the natural park on the Kinburn Spit in the Kherson region. Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to demine the coast with the help of artillery and identify the firing positions of the Russian army. Half of the residential buildings in the settlements on the spit were destroyed, including all the buildings on the banks. Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian troops stopped attempts by the armed forces of Ukraine to cross the Dnieper.
Ukrainian troops have begun to strike more often at the natural park on the Kinburn Spit in the Kherson region, said Andriy Zhidkov, commander of the Dnipro sabotage and assault brigade.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to demine the coast with the help of artillery and identify the firing positions of the Russian army.
"The situation on the Kinburn Spit is consistently tense. The enemy is intensifying shelling every day, not only on our positions, but also on settlements, the forest belt," TASS quoted the commander as saying.
Zhidkov added that half of the residential buildings in the settlements on the spit were destroyed, including all the buildings on the banks.
