The Arab states may create a military bloc if Israel continues to strike Syria and other countries, said Adalbi Shkhagoshev, a member of the Duma Security Committee.

He recalled that Israel is attacking Syrian airports, as well as striking Lebanon. Shkhagoyev noted that the IDF is coordinating its actions with the United States.

"I believe that if Israel strikes Syria, Lebanon, neighboring states, this can lead to the creation of a military alliance between Arab countries," RIA Novosti quoted the deputy as saying.

Earlier, the deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Arab Republic (CPVS), Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, said that three F-15 fighters and four F-16s of the Israeli Air Force struck the Syrian airfields of Aleppo and Duvali in Damascus.

The Syrian Ministry of Transport said that after Israeli strikes on airports in Damascus and Aleppo, flights were transferred to the international airport in Latakia.
