Turkey announced its readiness to create a field hospital to help the Palestinians

Highlights: Turkey is ready to create a field hospital to provide assistance to the Palestinians. Minister of Health of the Republic Fahrettin Koca made the announcement during talks with his Jordanian counterpart Firas al-Hawari. Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the UN Security Council once again failed to fulfill its duties in the Middle East. He said the UN did not adopt the Russian draft resolution on a ceasefire in the Mideast. The resolution would have called for the creation of a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine.

Turkey is ready to create a field hospital to provide assistance to the Palestinians and organize air transportation of the wounded to its territory, said the Minister of Health of the Republic Fahrettin Koca during talks with his Jordanian counterpart Firas al-Hawari.


"I conveyed to my Jordanian counterpart that we are ready to create a field hospital and, if necessary, provide air transportation of the wounded to my country for further examination and treatment," TASS quoted Koji as saying.

According to him, the Turkish side is also ready to provide support to medical personnel.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the UN Security Council, which did not adopt the Russian draft resolution on a ceasefire in the Middle East, once again failed to fulfill its duties.
