Ukrainian troops tried to break through to the positions of the Lynx special forces detachment. To do this, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used two tanks and two infantry fighting vehicles with troops. Russian fighters allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to approach the positions, after which they attacked the equipment from ATGMs.
The tank turned out to be survivable and turned around, the infantry fighting vehicle was less lucky: one remained where it was knocked out, the second vehicle was hit during the retreat.
For about two and a half hours, the enemy was covered with fire. Due to the difficult situation, reinforcements and an evacuation group were sent to the Ukrainian infantry, but the "lynx" did not allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to move.
As a result, out of 20 SS soldiers, only one survived.
