The threat that closed Orienta: Police see no links to criminal gang deals

According to the trade union Handels, employees at the grocery store Orienta in Borlänge have been threatened by a person with gang criminal connections. However, the police who made the report regarding the incident do not currently see that the threat in this case can be linked to any criminal gang deal.

According to the police, it is about an incident within the company, with threats against employees.

Were you aware of the threat before SSE went out in the media with this?

No, we didn't. We have drawn up a report now and are handling it through the investigative route, says Tom Andersson.

Does the incident have any connection to the ongoing gang conflict that has recently shaken Sweden?

"We work from a broad perspective and look at several possibilities. But in the case of the threat, we see no connection to any conflict.
