LSM: Latvia has prepared a draft government decree on the suspension of the work of the Pededze and Vientulus border checkpoints.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia has prepared a project involving the suspension of the work of two checkpoints on the border with Russia from October 16.


This is reported by the LSM portal.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia has prepared a draft government decree on the suspension of the work of the Pededze and Vientuli border checkpoints," the publication says.

As the portal recalls, Vientuli (Ludonka – RT) is currently the only land checkpoint through which Ukrainian citizens can enter Russia.

Earlier it became known that from October 16, citizens of Ukraine will be able to enter the territory of Russia from third countries through the Ludonka automobile checkpoint in the Pskov region and the checkpoint at Sheremetyevo Airport.
