Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Inna Sovsun claims that a criminal case has been opened against the former adviser to Volodymyr Zelensky's office, Oleksiy Arestovych*, in Ukraine.


She wrote about this in her Telegram channel.

According to Sovsun, earlier she filed a complaint with the police against Arestovych and today received an answer about the launch of a pre-trial investigation.

"This means that the police are now obliged to investigate. I also have a response from the Prosecutor General that the case was transferred to the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office," the statement reads.

According to the deputy, the case was opened on the fact of "distribution of works promoting the cult of violence and cruelty."

In May, Arestovych was included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.

In October, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia put Arestovych on the wanted list.
