Johan Kristoffersson was able to secure his sixth World Championship title in Cape Town, but instead came the first race of the season where he did not win.

The star finished third in the race, which was won by German Timo Scheider. It was the German's first victory in the World Cup.

"It's the first time. It's so emotional. I dedicate this victory to my father," says the German, pointing up to the sky.

Kevin Hansen came second and Klara Andersson came fourth.

The WRC season ends with two races in Hong Kong in November. Kristoffersson is still the big favorite for the World Championship title as he leads the World Championship series by a large margin.
