The pursuit start is part of the World Cup series which runs until the end of February.
Yesterday Elvira Öberg won the sprint despite four barriers. Today she crushed the other national team stars in the pursuit start on roller skis and won by over two minutes. "I'm much happier with this one. Today I get it together all the way, she says in Expressen's broadcast.
Thanks to yesterday's victory, Elvira Öberg started four seconds ahead of sister Hanna Öberg in the pursuit start in Östersund.
But today there was no question about which of the blue and yellow national team stars. Elvira Öberg stopped on two bars and won with a margin of two minutes and 12 seconds down to Johanna Skottheim. Hanna Öberg finished third and Stina Nilsson fourth.
