Paulina Krasa's true-crime podcast »Mordlust« is one of the most successful in Germany. A conversation about the happiness of dealing with dying.

Paulina Krasa's Instagram page is emblazoned with the phrase: "In Darkness We Rise". The dark, the morbid seems to have taken a liking to the 33-year-old even as a small child. "I've always been drawn to this topic. When you see my old diary, you wonder, what's wrong with this girl?" says Krasa.

So it was probably no coincidence that five years ago, together with her colleague Laura Wohlers, she launched the true-crime podcast »Mordlust«. The two report on murder cases in German-speaking countries. Today, their format is one of the most popular German-language productions, with millions of people listening every month. A few weeks ago, the two won the "German Podcast Award".
