According to the portal, during the verification of his documents, it turned out that he had an ordinary passport.

"The driver was informed that the entry of a car with Russian license plates is prohibited due to sanctions," the publication says.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Estonia said that cars with Russian license plates must be registered or taken out.

Also, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Estonia noted that they would not confiscate cars with Russian license plates.
