In the Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region, a mass grave from the Great Patriotic War was found. There may be the remains of about two thousand executed prisoners of the Dulag-102 concentration camp.

The burial was discovered by the investigators of the department together with forensic investigators of the North-West Department of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, as well as with the search expedition "Dolina" and the search teams "Call of the Partisans" and "Avangard".

"One and a half kilometers from the city of Volosovo, Leningrad Region, a mass grave from the Great Patriotic War was discovered. Presumably, in the specified place there are executed prisoners of "Dulag-102". According to archival documents, there may be about 2000,<> people in this place," the statement said.

It is specified that upon the discovery of the burial, a pre-investigation check is being carried out.

During the inspection, the skeletal remains of about a hundred citizens, including, presumably, children, were recovered.

Earlier it was reported that the remains of 102 patients and employees of the regional psychiatric hospital, who were tortured by the Nazis, were buried in the Moscow region.
