Highlights: Daniel Ståhl won the discus race in Malmö. Fanny Roos won the shot put race. The World Cup is coming up in two weeks. StåHL and Roos are aiming to qualify for the final of the World Championships in Glasgow, South Africa, in May. The final will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on May 14-15. The finals will take place on May 16-17, with the final on May 18.

The World Cup is approaching for Daniel Ståhl and Fanny Roos. Both throwing stars won their respective events during the GP race in Malmö. "It felt pretty stable," Roos told SVT Sport.

"It was great fun here today at Malmö Stadium. It was magical," said Daniel Ståhl after winning in 67.30 in Saturday's GP race.

With about two weeks left until the discus qualification at the World Championships, Ståhl's goal is clear.

"Trying to get to the final, that's the goal. Then we'll take it from there," he says.

At the same time, Fanny Roos took a victory in the shot put of the GP race. She had five throws over 18 meters, and she won in 18.92.

"I thought it felt okay. Pretty stable, but I didn't get a hit. It's just a matter of training and doing as well as possible at the World Cup," she says.
