At 39, Humphreys, born in Mississippi, lives today totally away from acting. In fact, it was after finishing the Robert Zemeckis film and spending two years traveling to attend promotional events and interviews when he decided (we imagine that his parents had something to do with it) that Hollywood was not a good place for him because it was not "a healthy lifestyle for children".
