Maintaining the form of Paris - Alexander Zverev in Halle

Alexander Zverev is in the semifinals of the grass tournament in Halle / Westphalia. The 26-year-old defeated Chilean Nicolas Jarry 7-5, 6-3. Ten days before the start of Wimbledon, Zverev proved his improved form.
In the fight for the final, the Olympic champion will meet Alexander Bublik from Kazakhstan on Saturday, who eliminated Jan-Lennard Struff in the round of sixteen. Zverev suffered a straight defeat against Jarry in the semifinals of the clay court tournament in Geneva at the end of May, this time he prevailed.
"It's great that I'm continuing to play like I did in Paris, but there are still some things to improve," said Zverev, who recently reached the semifinals at the French Open.

Zverev was unable to use three breakballs on the Chilean's serve in the first set when the score was 3: 2, but then made the decisive break to make it 7: 5 and won the first round after 57 minutes with the first set ball.
Zverev could not be stopped in the second set either. he managed a fast break. With the score at 4-2, he then had to fend off the first three breakballs of the game, but won a long service game and then brought the victory to the finish.
Zverev has been in the final twice in Halle so far. In 2016 he lost to Florian Mayer, a year later to Roger Federer.
