"Currently, one patient is under the supervision of medical workers, he is provided with the necessary medical care. The condition is assessed as severe. 14 patients were discharged with recovery. 12 people were killed," the ministry said in a statement.

On June 17, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that the total number of people poisoned by surrogate cider in Russia had increased to 106. According to Murashko, 36 of them died.

Therapist, doctor of functional diagnostics Andrey Kondrakhin explained in an interview with the TV channel "360" that children are harder than adults to tolerate poisoning, since dehydration occurs faster in the child's body.
