The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, advised US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, after her words about supporting Ukraine's strikes on Crimea, to deal with "white balloons and UFOs" that "surf the expanses" of the United States.

She noted that their own citizens are laughing at the US authorities in connection with the situation with “unidentified objects”, but they are still dreaming of the defeat of Russia, and now they are also calling on the Kiev regime to launch an attack on Crimea.

“You have something to do at home, Victoria,” Zakharova said during a briefing.

Zakharova also said that Nuland's words about supporting Ukrainian strikes in Crimea are evidence of Washington's direct involvement in the conflict over Ukraine.

The Kremlin previously noted that Crimea is an integral part of Russia and claims to Russian territory will receive a proper response.

They also emphasized that the very discussion about the permissibility of supplying Ukraine with weapons that would allow strikes on Russian territory is extremely dangerous.

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, in which the majority of the inhabitants of the peninsula spoke in favor of reunification with Russia.
