The Congress of Ukrainians in Estonia has asked the local community to reduce or completely abandon New Year's fireworks this year. Postimees writes about it.

It is noted that representatives of the congress are fighting to ensure that refugees from Ukraine feel safe in Estonia.

The appeal says that each firework rocket "kills the revived sense of peace and a sober mind."

“We would like to ask that fireworks be canceled this year,” the publication cites the text of the appeal.

On November 16, in Estonia, the problem of employment of Ukrainian refugees was called nonsense against the backdrop of problems within the state.
