The new Italian Minister of Health,
Orazio Schillaci
, announced this Friday the
elimination of sanctions on health personnel who were not vaccinated
during the pandemic and their reintegration into their jobs.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health announced the annulment of the employment suspension files for non-compliance with the vaccination obligation, introduced by the previous minister, Roberto Speranza, "due to the expiration of the provisions in force on December 31 and the worrying shortage of medical staff".
Schillaci was part of the Scientific Committee of the Higher Institute of Health, which was created to manage the pandemic.
