The Gabonese transfer deal, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, from Barcelona to Chelsea, entered a tunnel, after the player sustained a broken jaw following the armed robbery of his house two days ago, according to the British newspaper, The Athletic.
Armed thieves stormed the home of the Barcelona striker at dawn on Monday, and beat the player and his wife to force them to open a safe to steal jewelry from them.
The British newspaper stated that “the talks between the two teams are intense and ongoing about Aubameyang, but it has become complicated in light of the player’s fracture of the jaw after the attack that occurred in his home, and he will be absent from the stadiums for a few weeks, and it has become possible for Chelsea to borrow the player.”
The "Athletic" added that "The Blues" believe that the Gabonese player is expected to be absent from the stadiums for a few weeks, and will determine whether he needs surgery or not.

Other press reports said Aubameyang will miss 4-5 weeks after a jaw injury.
The thieves broke into Aubameyang's home, and beat the player and his family.
The incident took place at Oba's home in the municipality of Castelldefels, Barcelona, when the player and his relatives were there.
According to the Spanish newspaper, El Pais, the thieves entered the house through the garden, aimed guns at the Gabonese star, beat him and threatened his wife.
The thieves forced the family to open the safe, before they fled by car to an unknown destination.
Aubameyang's wife, Alicia Behig, says she has informed the Catalan police, who are still trying to identify and locate the attackers.
