Yvonne Blombäck has a cottage out on Granön in the Kalix archipelago. She is worried about how the planned wind farm will affect the local environment. At the same time, she sees no other alternative for supplying energy to the large industrial establishments in Norrbotten. - It is a necessary evil, she says.
On Monday and Tuesday, representatives from the company Wpd Offshore, which is behind the plans for a giant water-based wind farm, were on site in Kalix to meet the public.
