Russia's Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, announced "undeniable progress" in the negotiations on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian Nuclear Program (JCPOA).


“Today, within the framework of the Vienna negotiations on the JCPOA, the working group on nuclear issues had a useful meeting.

We are seeing undeniable progress.

The issue of lifting the sanctions is being actively discussed at informal meetings, ”he wrote on Twitter.

Ulyanov also said that he had a useful and positive meeting with the heads of the delegations of Great Britain, France and Germany in the negotiations, however, "unfortunately, there was no one to take a photo."

On December 27, the lava delegations of Russia and the United States met before the start of the eighth round of consultations on the restoration of the Iranian nuclear deal.
