The first case on the purchase of a fake QR code has been opened in Moscow

The first criminal case was initiated in Moscow on the acquisition of a fake QR code for vaccination against coronavirus. This was announced by Pavel Milovanov, head of the department for organizing the inquiry of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow.

He stated this at a press conference at the Izvestia Information Center.

Milovanov added that the case was initiated under Art.

159 of the Criminal Code of Russia "Fraud".

Also in Moscow, 55 criminal cases have been initiated on falsification of certificates of vaccination against COVID-19 and PCR tests.

Earlier it was reported that millions of Muscovites and guests of the capital received QR codes on the availability of protection against coronavirus infection.
