December 31 is declared a day off in Chechnya

In Chechnya, December 31 was declared a day off. This follows from the decree of the head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov.


“Friends, I signed a decree establishing December 31, 2020 as a day off (non-working) day in the Chechen Republic.

Thus, we supported the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to make the last New Year's day a day off, ”he wrote in Telegram.

Kadyrov recommended that the heads of private organizations also make the last day of 2020 a day off.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin recommended that the heads of Russian regions make December 31 a day off.
