The police in Aachen quickly resolved one case of physical sexual harassment: the woman who was held by a man while jogging and was immorally touched was a police officer herself.
As the officials announced on Thursday, the woman was also active in sports within sight of four other colleagues.
The 28-year-old man tried unsuccessfully to flee, was detained and handed over to his colleagues from the patrol service.
He is now facing criminal proceedings for sexual harassment, threat and insult.
